表面工程及防护涂层组”通过材料设计和工程、腐蚀模拟和表征、工艺开发和验证等,为减轻合金腐蚀和退化提供具有成本效益的解决方案。目前主要研究方向材料包括高熵合金,铝镁合金,镍钛合金,不锈钢等。目前招聘的方向包括但不限于:


(1) 金属材料设计及开发;


(2) 3D打印钛合金,镁合金, 及其他合金在航空航天及生物医学的应用


(3) 腐蚀科学研究;


(4) 耐腐蚀耐磨涂层开发;


(5) 薄膜材料;


(6) 金属材料的力学位错理论研究等。

导师介绍:Dr Liu Hongfei is a senior scientist at the Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE). He graduated from Xi’an Jiaotong University in 1996 with his bachelor’s degree (Semiconductor Physics and Devices) and received his Ph.D. degree (Condensed-State Physics) in 2001 from the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He held the adjunct assistant professor position at the Dept. Mater. Sci. Eng. National University of Singapore during 2009-2011. His research focuses on design, growth and characterization of semiconductor thin films and nanomaterials for electronic and optoelectronic applications; laser-assisted deposition/coating of alloys and composite for industrial applications; surface engineering of structural metal alloys; and protective coating for medical devices, aerospace components, and civil infrastructural systems. He has published over 180 papers in peer-reviewed journals. He is a scientific committee member of international conference on advanced surface enhancement (INCASE) and an editorial member of a few journals of materials science and engineering, e.g., Scientific Report (NPG), Coatings (MDPI), etc


Dr. Liu is currently initiating a joint Lab. research with School of Physics and Mathematics Science (SPMS) at NTU focusing on Quantum and Optoelectronic Materials. He is also the technique leader representing IMRE in joint research between ASTAR and AMAT. He is a supervisor for ph. d student with the frame of joint ASTAR-University of Manchester scholarship.
